The innovative AutoMemory feature of our system intelligently adapts the correction level following a pet's boundary test. This feature helps to reduce further attempts to cross the boundary. When a pet tests the boundary at a receiver setting of 3, 4, 5, or 6, AutoMemory activates. For the subsequent 24 hours, any attempt to cross the boundary results in a correction at a higher level. For instance, if the receiver is set to level 4 and AutoMemory is activated, the correction level will escalate to that of level 5 for 24 hours. The system then reverts to its original setting if no further boundary challenges occur in that period.


TattleTale™

When your pet tests their boundary limits, the receiver's status light will emit a double flash signal. This serves as a cue that adjustments to the fence settings might be necessary. This receiver feature resets automatically after a 24-hour period without any boundary challenges. The TattleTale™ is an exclusive safety innovation developed by DogWatch.

  • How do hidden dog fences work?

    Hidden fences operate by embedding a 'boundary wire' a few inches underground around your premises. This wire emits a benign, low-level radio signal from a transmitter placed in your home or garage. Pets wear a lightweight, waterproof collar that detects this signal. Approaching the wire triggers a warning sound (or vibration) from the collar. If the pet continues, a gentle but effective stimulation (referred to as a 'correction') is emitted.
