Our extensive range of professional services is tailored to meet your specific needs. We guarantee a friendly and satisfactory experience with every service we offer.

Say Goodbye to Closed Doors & Baby Gates

Protect your beloved pet by keeping them away from potential trouble spots like the kitchen trash, countertops with tempting treats, that brand new sofa you just bought, or the front door where they could escape. Our Indoor Boundaries offer unparalleled versatility and effectiveness, allowing you to set boundaries not only for entire rooms and small areas but also for entryways, specific furniture pieces, stairs, and more.

With our innovative system, you have the freedom to choose the exact areas that are "off-limits" for your pets, giving you peace of mind and ensuring their well-being. Remember, establishing clear indoor boundaries is just as crucial as setting up outdoor ones when it comes to safeguarding and protecting your cherished pet.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do Indoor Boundary systems work?

Indoor Boundary systems function similarly to outdoor Hidden Fence systems. A radio signal emitted by the system is detected by the receiver collar worn by your pet. Initially, the signal field is marked with flags to help your pet identify the area. As your pet approaches the signal field, the receiver collar emits an audible or vibration warning beep. If your pet goes beyond the warning zone, a mild 'correction' is quickly administered through the receiver collar. This correction provides an unpleasant, yet safe, sensation. With proper training, your pet will learn to avoid these areas associated with the warning.

  • What is the light on the transmitter?

The status light on the transmitter lets you know if the transmitter is turned on.

On the IB-100, the status light also lets you know the status of the transmitter battery. If the light is red, the battery needs to be charged. See Owner’s Guide for additional information.

Note: The green light may be steady green or blinking green. This depends on the frequency setting of the transmitter.

  • How do I increase and decrease the signal range?

(the distance the signal radiates from the transmitter or the boundary wire) to make the “off-limits” avoidance zone area larger or smaller

Located on the rear of the transmitter is a signal range knob. Here's how to adjust it:

    1. Rotate the knob towards the ‘+’ to expand the signal range, thereby increasing the size of the signal field.
    2. Rotate the knob towards the ‘-’ to reduce the signal range, resulting in a smaller signal field.

  • The IB-100 has a rechargeable battery. How long does the battery stay charged?

Battery life is influenced by your choice of rate and range settings. The rate-setting determines the frequency of signal transmission (fast, medium, or slow), while the range setting determines the distance the signal covers from the transmitter. For more details, refer to the Owner's Guide.

When set at maximum range, the life of the battery charge is approximately:

    1. 4 days in ‘Fast’
    2. 7 days in ‘Medium’ /
    3. 30 days in ‘Slow’

Decreasing the range setting will increase the average battery life between charges.

  • How large can I make the “off-limits” area?

    Wireless Transmitters:

    1. IB-200 can be adjusted up to a maximum of 10 feet in diameter (5 feet in all directions from the transmitter.)
    2. IB-100 can be adjusted up to a maximum of 8 feet in diameter (4 feet in all directions from the transmitter)

    With Wire:

When using the boundary wire, you can customize the size of your avoidance zone(s) based on:

    1. The length of the wire
    2. The signal range
    3. The distance between the separated wires (separated = signal is transmitted; twisted together = no signal).

See the Owner’s Guide for additional information.

  • Do I need separate collars for inside and outside?

On the back of the transmitter, there is a signal range knob.

    1. Turn the knob toward the ‘+’ to increase the signal range. This increases the size of the signal field.
    2. Turn the knob toward the ‘-’ to decrease the signal range. This decreases the size of the signal field.
